The Centers for Disease Control have advised of the need for precautions in light of the COVID-19 virus outbreak, noting that the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Therefore, as part of the Court’s ongoing efforts to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, the following procedures are effective immediately:
1. All cases scheduled for appearances, conferences, hearings, and/or trials at Old Brookville Village Court on March 26, 2020, have been administratively adjourned by the Court. Defendants and/or their counsel will be advised by mail of the adjourned date for their matter(s).
2. Fines and fees may no longer be paid in person at Village Hall. Fines and fees may be paid by check or money order made payable to the Old Brookville Village Court, mailed to: Old Brookville Village Court, 201 McCouns Lane, Old Brookville, New York 11545, or by credit card. Please contact the Court Clerk if paying by credit card.
